The list was prepared from the comments contributed by 780,000 visitors to the website during 2012.
This particular travel site is one of Europe’s largest travel website, visited monthly by millions of potential tourists researching their next vacation destination.
The Iberostar Bavaro was included among the best beach hotels in the world, while the Iberostar Hacienda Dominicus was considered to be one of the best for family vacations.
The Iberostar Dominicana was included in the list of best hotels for couples, and the Secrets Royal Beach appears in the category “Favorite among favorites”.
The 373-room Secrets Royal Beach is a five-star, all-inclusive adults-only hotel, featuring a buiness center, casino, spa and gymnasium.
The Iberostar Dominicana features 592 rooms, while the Iberostar Bavaro, also an all-inclusive facility, offers 600 rooms. Both are part of Iberostar Bavaro Resort complex, consisting of four top-of-the-line facilities.
The Iberostar Hacienda Dominicus is located in the small coastal village of Bayahibe, in La Romana, also on the country’s eastern region.
It feawtures 463 rooms, four a la carte restaurants, four bars, a spa with five treatment rooms, and a jacuzzi.
