Casa de Campo, in the city of La Romana, situated in the eastern region of the Dominican Republic, recently announced the first annual “Dye Hard Cup” golf tournament, to be held from November 10-15, 2013.

The grand prize will be US$90,000 for a single winner. The tournament will be held in all four of the famous resort’s golf courses, designed by the legendary Pete Dye.

Players will be able to play in the world-famous “Teeth of the Dog” golf course, listed as the number one golf course in Latin America and number 47 in the world, according to Golf Magazine.

The tournament is open to professionals and amateurs alike.

The number of holes played will correspond to the particular golf course.

The first round will be 27 holes at the Dye Fore course, known for its stunning scenery overlooking the Chavon River.

The second will feature the 27 holes at the La Romana Country Club golf course, while the third will be the 18 holes at The Links, dotted with small hills and lakes, reflecting a Scottish flair in the heart of the Caribbean.

The final 18 holes will be played at the world famous Teeth of The Dog golf course.

The tournament will begin on Sunday, November 10, with a welcome reception at The Beach Club by Le Cirque, in Playa Minitas, in Casa de Campo.

The registration package begins at US$5,000 for players and US$3,000 for non-players.

The package includes: accommodation for five nights, breakfast, lunch, dinner; unlimited drinks and beverages in all bars and restaurants; beverage carts on the golf courses; unlimited use of the driving range; golf carts; free use of gymnasium.
