SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic. – Donato Salcedo Rosario, better known as “Cristian Casa Blanca”, was sanctioned by the Public Ministry with three days in prison, 125 days of community work, a 25 thousand pesos fine and a public apology, for throwing a television from a building in the National District , putting at risk the lives of people who passed through the place.
Through a press release, the persecuting body of the justice system explained that Adrian Donato Salcedo Rosario (Cristian Casa Blanca), 46 years old, was arrested after publishing a video on social networks that captures the moment he throws the apparatus from a great height.
In that order, he explained that the sanction against Salcedo Rosario was imposed for attempting against the good conservation and use of public roads, established in article 146 of Law No. 63-17 on Mobility and Land Transportation, as well as for affecting the public order, as contemplated in the same Law, and for the alleged commission of contraventions consisting of hindrance of the public highway and injurious riots described in articles 471 and 480 of the Dominican Penal Code. The Public Ministry indicated in that order, that said sanction is pending approval by the competent judge.
The audiovisual, which went viral on social networks, captures the moment when Cristian Casa Blanca threatens to throw his appliances on the street in protest so that the management of a private university does not charge its students in March and April, and, later, he is seen throwing the television from the balcony of the building.
The Public Ministry called on the population not to commit actions of this nature and to remain calm in this moment of quarantine, which seeks to counter the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic that is affecting the country.
